What competencies does the graduate have? Studies in engineering within seafaring prepares you for Chief Engineer Officer duties. After completing the studies and the onboard training you can apply for a certificate of competency for Watch Officer Engineer from the maritime authorities (Traficom) which is required in order to work in such positions.
