Hammaslääketieteen lisensiaatti is a two-tier degree leading to the profession of dentist, consisting of the Bachelor of Dental Medicine (3 years, 180 credits) and the Licentiate of Dental Medicine (2.5 years, 150 credits) degrees. In their work, a dentist uses the broad knowledge base in dentistry and medicine acquired during their education for the benefit of their patients. The work is people-oriented and rewarding.
