About the programme
Medical education has two tiers. It consists of the Bachelor of Medicine (180 ECTS credits, 3 years) and Licentiate of Medicine (180 ECTS credits, 3 years) degrees. The medical profession carries great responsibility and requires a high level of competence, interaction skills, confidentiality and stress tolerance. Medicine is one of the fields covered by the SORA legislation (Soveltumattomuuden ratkaisuja, decisions on unsuitability for studies).
