What will graduates be able to do? A midwife is an expert in promoting sexual and reproductive health. A midwife cares for women and the whole family at different stages of the life course, as well as when health changes or problems arise. A midwife works as an expert in family planning; in midwifery care for pregnant women, women in labour and women who have given birth, as well as for healthy newborns and their families; and in gynaecological nursing.
